Time once again to revisit the local crime blotter of my rural Texas county. Yes, these are actual police records as published in our local paper, courtesy of the Sheriff’s Department. As you will see, I live in a virtual hotbed of violent crime.
400 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 4721 – A man allegedly stole an air compressor from his ex-wife.
Welcome to Divorce, Wise County Texas-style. I can just picture the bitter battles that must have taken place between the Lawyers representing the two sides of this failed marriage.
The husband got the truck, the 4-wheeler’s, the guns, the fishing boat, the two closets of camouflage clothing, and the 60″ TV.
The wife got the trailer house, the 5 kids, the dogs, the furniture, the Wal-Mart Discount card, and best of all….. the air compressor.
A man in this county cannot live without his air compressor! The lawyers should have known that a burglary would surely ensue later on down the road.
