Five years ago I saw these guys as part of a double bill with Terrapin Flyer, one of the Chicago area Grateful Dead cover bands.
The various musicians who make up 40,000 Headmen are part of numerous Chicago area jam bands. Packy Lundholm – Keys, Guitar and Vocals; Scott Tipping – Guitar, Organ and Vocals; Wavy Dave Burlingame – Bass and Vocals; Ray Quinn – Flute, Guitar and vocals; Marty Gierczyk – Tenor Sax and Vocals; Johnny Reed – Drums and Piano; Jordan Kamps – Percussion.
On Tuesday March 23rd at 10 PM ET/ 9 CT, 7 PT they will play a FREE show hosted by ASP Streaming, which will be carried on YouTube. You will hear classic Traffic, Blind Faith, and Spencer Davis music.
