Terms & conditions for use of InternetFM.com, the InternetFM app, and other digital platforms.

Addendum 1: Terms and Conditions Governing User-Generated Content

By using our platform, you agree to comply with the terms outlined in this End User License Agreement (EULA) and our Terms and Conditions, which governs the behavior and content shared on our platform by you and other users. We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all users.

1. No Tolerance for Objectionable Content or Abusive Behavior

You agree not to post, share, or engage in any content or behavior that is offensive, harmful, or violates the rights of others. This includes, but is not limited to, content that is:

  • Hateful, threatening, or harassing
  • Discriminatory or offensive based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or other personal attributes
  • Obscene, profane, or otherwise inappropriate
  • Spam, malicious, or otherwise disruptive to the user experience

We reserve the right to remove any content or take action against any user who violates this policy, including immediate account suspension or termination.

2. Content Filtering Mechanism

We use automated and manual systems to filter objectionable content on our platform. This includes keyword detection and other methods to prevent harmful or disruptive content from being shared.

While no system is perfect, we are constantly working to improve our content moderation tools to ensure a safe environment for all users.

3. Reporting Objectionable Content

If you encounter any content or behavior that you believe violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable, you may flag it using the in-app reporting mechanism. All reports will be reviewed by our moderation team. By the same token, flagrant abuse of the in-app reporting mechanism will not be tolerated.

4. Blocking Abusive Users

We provide a feature that allows you to block users who are abusive, disruptive, or violate the terms of this agreement. Blocking a user will prevent them from interacting with you on the platform and you will not see any content they post publicly.

5. Violations and Enforcement

We take violations of our Terms and Conditions and Code of Conduct seriously. To ensure a safe and respectful environment for all users, we have established a clear process for addressing violations. The following actions will be taken based on the severity and frequency of the violations:

5a. First Violation: Warning and Content Removal

Upon the first violation of our policy, the following actions will be taken:

  • Warning Issued: A formal warning will be sent to the offending user, notifying them of the violation and reminding them of our Code of Conduct.
  • Content Removal: Any objectionable content will be promptly removed from the platform.

5b. Second Violation: 7-Day Suspension

If the user commits a second violation, the following actions will be taken:

  • 7-Day Suspension: The user’s account will be temporarily suspended for a period of 7 days. During this time, the user will be unable to post in chat but may still access the music portion of the app.

5c. Third Violation: Lifetime Ban Pending Appeal

A third violation will result in a lifetime ban from the platform. The user’s account will be permanently banned from the platform.

5d. Appeal Process

The user may submit a formal written appeal for the ban to be reviewed and reconsidered. The appeal will be reviewed by our moderation team, and the decision will be final. Please note that the appeal must be submitted in writing and provide a detailed explanation of the circumstances surrounding the violation(s).

5e. Egregious Violations: Immediate Ban and Appeal Process

Certain violations may be considered so severe that they will result in immediate permanent banning without prior warning or suspension. We reserve the right to issue an immediate ban if a user makes frequent, blatant, and horrendous violations of these Terms and Conditions. This is a fun place to listen to and discuss music. Please help us keep it that way.

Addendum 2 – Third Party Access

Third-Party Access and Data Sharing

In order to provide and improve our services, we may grant access to certain personal data to trusted third-party service providers. These third parties act on our behalf and only process personal data in accordance with our instructions and applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For example, we may share access rights with service providers or relevant plugin providers, solely for the purpose of ensuring functionality and maintaining the performance of our website and services.
