hosted by Packer Dave, John Poulter, and Steve Leventhal
This edition of the Sports Report features analysis of the Chicago Bears loss at Green Bay on Sunday Night Football. A change in quarterback made no difference as the Packers ran out to an early 27-3 lead, and never looked back. Chicago is in a downward spiral, and we hear from coach Matt Nagy how frustrated he is at his team’s lack of execution. Mitch Trubisky comments on what it was like to get back out on the field. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers talks about notching another win in the Bears-Packers rivalry. Dave rounds out the football talk with a look at the upcoming weekend games around the NFL.
Lastly, John and Steve talk about the 2020 English soccer season and the FA Cup, and in particular about how powerhouse Tottenham will be traveling to face Northern Premier League side Marine, in Cosby, just outside of Liverpool. Given the quirks of the FA Cup, it would be like the Lakers coming to play your rec league team at the local YMCA.
