July 9th marked the 25th anniversary of The Home Improvement USA Radio Program. The show began syndication in 1994 from the River North studios of the Illinois Radio Network, and has been produced by north suburban Chicago-based SRN Broadcasting. The DIY format features a variety of industry experts from across the country. Hosts in the early years included Ken Walchak, owner of Clark-Devon Hardware, and Jerry Kuc, longtime Chicago talk and sports personality. Home Improvement USA has been hosted by Dave Rusch and Steve Leventhal for the last eighteen years and can be heard weekly on fifteen terrestrial and online radio stations. The program now has an expansive internet presence, is available on-demand, and is showcased on InternetFM.com‘s 24/7 streaming Home Improvement USA channel.
