Earliest musical influences: bluegrass and roots country, adult contemporary & R & B. In my late teens I discovered regional FM rock stations, clear channel AM’s KAAY, Little Rock, especially the underground radio show Beaker Street, & WLS, Chicago which was one of the best in the nation, great dj’s & superb presentation of top forty hits. I was in radio for about 3 decades, mostly as program & music director. I still regularly research music & happily make many discoveries. My favorite period is late 60s & early 70s.
