What more could you ask for on Christmas than this rambunctious reading of “Jingle Bells” from 1936 by the larger than life pianist extraordinaire Fats Waller. Meld that with a fine holiday Betty Boop video and you’ve got some musical spiked eggnog that guarantees a Joyeux Noel. I’m posting this one a little earlier than normal since I will be working at the homeless shelter tonight through tomorrow morning…for the past eight years, that’s what Christmas means to me.
