PTW presents a very special tribute to Jerry Garcia, founding member of the Grateful Dead. He was born on August 1, 1942, and he died way too soon at the age of 53 on August 9, 1995. Deadheads refer to the period between August 1st and August 9th as “The Days Between.”
Our program presents a wide variety of live songs from Jerry’s brilliant career. Hour One has solo material such as “Run for the Roses,” “Sugaree,” and “Ruben and Charise.”
Hour Two contains one of the earliest Dead tracks in “Cream Puff War.” It also includes live songs from the Europe ’72 tour, as well as renown performances from legendary venues the Fillmore West and the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester New York.
