I’m everyone’s Uncle Marty, with program # 561 of The 3D RadioActivity, as we take another in depth look at songs from STAX Studios. Heavily influenced by their team of producers, writers and musicians, sessions had no time limits, as all artists were free to make contributions and suggestions. Ideas moved openly between the control room and the soundstage as head arrangements was the term for their style where none of the parts were written down or worked out in advance. They gave it to you fast or slow, and from the mind, gut and heart.

We have gone through close to 100 STAX productions in our perspective, however we do have at least another 160 in the files. We just might dip into that well one more time before we go into our review of VeeJay records and Chess studios, so our next adventure could go several ways. Tune in to find out and let me know if you have any sure fire ideas by sending email, or with a message on our Facebook page which has links to the archives of all the earlier episodes and Airedorable graphics in the photo section.  Look for us on Denver’s  MileHiRadio,  Theacidflashback.com, TuneIn, and InternetFM dot com, because the best FM radio is now on the Internet.

Until we meet again, Keep Rockin’ On!

It’s not true I had nothing on, I had the radio on.
