April 7, 2013 by Marty Masters

A is for Allison, A is for April and A is for Awards. I’m Uncle Marty, on The Award Winning 3D RadioActivity, and this week we are focusing on music that was recognized either when the artist recieved accolades or as the Song of The Year by The Blues Hall of Fame, as we feature award winning tracks for you all month.

This a historical organization tracking those who have made the Blues timeless through performance, documentation, and recording. Since its inception in 1980, The Blues Foundation has inducted new members annually into their Hall of Fame for their historical contribution, impact and overall influence on the Blues. Accordingly, individuals, literature and recordings are included in the Hall. Members are inducted in five categories: Performers, Individuals, Classic of Blues Literature, Classic of Blues Recording (Album), and Classic of Blues Recording (Song) of the year. Visit http://www.blues.org/ to get more information about this organization. Next week we will pick some of the top tunes from the Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of the 500 greatest songs of all time, some from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and more.

There was a record number of hits again this week on the Facebook page, if that was you, thanks for stopping by.  Please take a few moments to add some likes to the shows listed in the photos area and the program itself.  I’d like to ask you to tell your friends about our program too.  Be sure to check us out on TuneIn.com, InternetFM and Groovy Radio.

If you have any ideas for our next shows please be sure to let me know. It’s easy to send an email by clicking on my name below or message me on Facebook, where you will find links to all the previous podcasts along with the graphics in the “Photo” section.
