This is The 3D RadioActivity # 297, and last time out we needed love, so this time we gotta have some z’s. Sleep is a naturally recurring state of mind characterized by altered consciousness, relatively limited sensory activity, inhibition of nearly all voluntary muscles, and reduced interactions with surroundings. It is distinguished from wakefulness by a decreased ability to react to stimuli, but is more easily reversed than the state of hibernation or of being comatose. It occurs in repeating periods, in which the body alternates between two highly distinct modes known as non-REM and REM which stands for “rapid eye movement” but involves many other aspects including virtual paralysis of the body. I’m Uncle Marty to tell you that REM is also a band, and you can be sure to hear them and lots of great music this time!

https://archive.org/download/The3dRadioactivity/3dradio_20150920-3DSleepsAgain.mp3We have concluded our feature of Summertime Seconds – Part II’s of topics that had so much good music the first time around, we had to feature it again, although we will do it from time to time when the winds are right.  And if you listen closely, you will notice that we always dig deep into the library to make sure we don’t play the same song twice without a darned good reason!  Next time we will be visiting the doctor, and we will be celebrating homecoming for the three weeks after that as we cross the 300 show mark. Got any suggestions?  Be sure to let me know!  Send email, or leave a message & a “Like on our Facebook page  which has links to the archives of all the earlier episodes and graphics in the photo section.

Look for us online here https://archive.org/details/The3dRadioactivity to find all of the previous shows, and all over the web via TuneIn .com, MileHiRadio, Theacidflashback.com, InternetFM.

Thanks for making us part of the plan, and Rock On!
