Your Uncle Marty is here once again with DaytonAiredale on The 3D RadioActivity‘s 650th gathering as we extend our retrospective of artists who gave their all to the music world and have gone on to their final and just rewards, this time with our focus on last April and May.
Over these past ten programs, we have paid tribute to 137 artists who have crossed the great divide into their next life, averaging over 77 years old, with a variety of ailments causing their demise, mainly heart issues, cancer, strokes, including my late wife Tina and buddy Big Poppa Knockout, covid and natural causes being the biggest culprits, including 13 Blues, Pop, and Rockers, with 10 R&B, 9 Soul, 7 Country, 6 Folk, Jazz, and 5 Funk artists. We will be back next week with our traditional Summertime Seconds where we revisit previous features where there were more cuts than we could fit into the earlier show. If you have any favorites we should focus on, Then tell me by sending email, or with a message on our Facebook page which has links to the archives of all the earlier episodes and the usual Airedorable Artwork over in the photo section. Be sure to give us a “Like” while you’re there! My Co-pilot Daytona says which means be sure to look for us on Denver’s Mile Hi Radio, KHEATradio.com in Surprise AZ, Theacidflashback, TuneIn and InternetFM .com, because the best FM radio is now on the Internet.
Until we meet again in this world or the next, Keep Rockin’ On!
