Every week, we learn of the passing of noteworthy celebrities, and sympathies are expressed across social media. Last week’s deaths of football’s Junior Seau and the Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch struck me beyond my fandom of either, because in addition to their athletic/artistic gifts, both seemed genuinely concerned with bettering our world.
On SethSaith.com, I wrote a reflection on the lives and deaths of both these stars, including a video of a nice tribute to Yauch from Coldplay, a highlight reel of Seau’s illustrious career and a Spotify playlist of some of my favorite Beastie Boys songs.
