I’m Your Uncle Marty, with Chapter 583 of The 3D RadioActivity as we continue our retrospective with a second look into Blind Pig Records. From the very beginning, belief in the creative abilities of the artists and the need to expand the limits of their form took precedence over a strict adherence to any narrowly defined musical idiom. As a result, the label’s natural progression includes the fields of Roots Rock, Zydeco, Rhythm & Blues, Rockabilly and Soul Gospel as it started with The Blues, Man.

We came to the close of this episode with a pattern… Two shows in a row with 14 tracks, all of them averaging nearly 4 minutes from artists on The Blind Pig label. We have another retrospection of this record company next time, so tune in to see if this form happens again. If you have ideas for shows or comments for Daytona or me, send an email .  Tell your BFFs to look for us on to look for us on Denver’s MileHiRadio ,  Theacidflashback ,  TuneIn  and  InternetFM dot com, because the best FM radio is now on the Internet.

Until we meet again, Keep Rockin’ On!

Uncle Marty

It’s not true I had nothing on, I had the radio on.
