I’m Uncle Marty, this is
The 3D RadioActivity, number 328, and on this episode we are focusing on Winners of The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Theater, more commonly known informally as the Tony Award, which recognizes achievement in live Broadway theater. They are presented by the American Theater Wing and The Broadway League at an annual ceremony in New York City, as they are given for Broadway productions and performances, and an award is given for regional productions. Considered the highest U.S. honor, the New York industry’s equivalent to the Oscars for motion pictures, the Grammys for music, the Emmys for television, the Laurence Olivier Award in the United Kingdom and the Molière Award of France. We’ve got some great tunes for you, so grab your popcorn and a favorite beverage to maximize your enjoyment.
